fashion marketing in the U.S. or Australia?

I am an Indonesian. and I'm having trouble deciding where to go to uni. Whatever I know is that I want to study Fashion Marketing in UNI. I'm stuck because my mother wants me to go to the States. but I do not want to part away from my boyfriend in ALL. I can not leave behind. My father is a kind of neutral, but he prefers me to study some from close to home. I have heard that to study fashion, it is better to go to the United States. But this quote true? Do you it would be enough for me to go to Aussie to learn Fashion Marketing? I think to go to Raffles College of Design and Commerce @ Sydney if I go to Aussie. And if I go to the States, I think I'm going to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchadising, LA. so please help me! Do you Should I go to the U.S. or just Australia?

Well let's just say that if you're a good probly is easy to penetrate Sydney Australia, plus a very large city.
